Welcome! I am an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Calgary. I study gender and politics in comparative contexts.

I use experimental, observational, and interview-based methods to conduct my research, largely based in Pakistan and India. My work has been supported by the American Political Science Association, Russell Sage Foundation, Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab, SurveyCTO, American Institute of Pakistan Studies, and several centers at Stanford University.

Previously, I was a Lecturer in Stanford University’s Civic, Liberal, and Global Education Program, where I learned a lot about student-centered teaching and learning. I earned my doctorate in Political Science from Stanford University in 2025 and my undergraduate degree in Politics summa cum laude from Princeton University in 2019.
